# MBAC Skill 07: Initial Outreach, 4-Touch Sequence

| | |
|---|---|
| **Version** | v1.0 (2026-07-27) |
| **Workflow** | B, Outreach & Follow-Up |
| **Lead indicator it moves** | Sequence completion rate, reply/booking rate |
| **Process owner** | Danielle Thompson |
| **Built from (Anthropic plugin)** | `marketing:email-sequence` |
| **Customized by** | MBAC Context Document + this file |

## Trigger

Run this skill when either happens:
- A new prospect is added to the connected store, OR
- A landing-page intake comes in and the person has NOT booked within 24 hours.

## Inputs / Context needed

- The MBAC Context Document (paste it first, always)
- Prospect record: name, business, email, mobile, LinkedIn/enrichment notes, what they said they need
- Which batch this belongs to (run in batches of ~50)

## Steps

1. Paste the MBAC Context Document, then this skill file, into Claude.
2. Paste the prospect record(s).
3. Ask Claude to draft the full 4-touch sequence per prospect:
   - **Email 1 (Day 0):** Warm intro. Who MBAC is, what is in it for them. Soft CTA: book a session or complete intake. No cost, no pressure.
   - **Email 2 (Day 3):** One piece of value. Remove a common barrier ("no cost," "we do the paperwork with you"). CTA.
   - **Email 3 (Day 6):** Benefit plus gentle urgency. One quick proof point. CTA.
   - **Email 4 (Day 9):** Close-out. "Closing the loop, seems like the timing is not right." Last-chance nudge.
4. Review every draft (human checkpoint below), fix anything off, send from the counselor's email.
5. Log sequence status to the connected store.

## Rules that never bend

- The sequence STOPS the instant someone replies or books. No exceptions.
- Encouraging, plain language. A reason to act, never pressure.
- Nothing auto-sends. A human hits send on every message.

## Human checkpoint (Zone 2)

A counselor reads the whole batch before anything goes out. The test: "Is it true, is it kind, would I send this to a client?"

## Safety & disclosure

AI-drafted, human-sent. Include the approved AI disclosure line wherever a client relationship starts. Never paste a client's confidential financials into the sequence drafts.

## Output & where it lands

Sent from the counselor's email. Status (which touch, sent date, reply/booked) logged to the connected store.

## Customization moves (Adopt, Customize, Rename)

1. **Adopt:** start from the Anthropic `marketing:email-sequence` plugin skill.
2. **Customize:** feed it the MBAC Context Document (audience: minority business owners in Greater Cincinnati / NKY; MBAC voice; state policy + AI disclosure).
3. **Rename & anchor:** it is now "MBAC Initial Outreach, 4-Touch Sequence," anchored to sequence completion and reply rate.
